Anderson Band was established in 1970 as a brass band with an initial membership of 35 students. Over the years, Anderson Band has continually strived for and achieved musical excellence. Today, our Band comprises 69 members and performs a diverse repertoire, ranging from classical and march pieces to contemporary pop music.
Throughout its journey, Anderson Band has participated in numerous performances and competitions, earning commendable accolades. While embracing growth and progress, the band remains deeply rooted in its traditions, proudly honouring its heritage through its annual participation in the school’s National Day Parade. In addition, the band plays an active role in the school community, contributing to key events such as Speech Day and Chinese New Year celebrations. These platforms provide members with valuable opportunities to showcase their musical talents and dedication.
